Independent Cleaning Services (ICS) is one of the latest companies to be re-awarded the SAFEcontractor accreditation, a programme which recognises very high standards of health and safety practise amongst UK contractors.

The East Yorkshire based firm, with its head office in Neptune Street, Hull, is part of the SPS Group - employing more than 1,000 people. ICS is principally involved in contract and specialist cleaning services, schools, shopping centres and hygiene cleaning as well as janitorial and washroom supplies.

Lee Stephenson, Business Development Director for ICS, said: “Our renewal application for SAFEcontractor accreditation was driven by our desire to maintain a high standard of health and safety across all aspects of our business.
